Events What's happening at our Club

Our Club Presentation Day is held at Stowupland Village Hall and the Sports and Social Club each year. This year the date is the 20th May 2017.

The Presentation Day is a great family day for all to celebrate the sucessess of the season just past. Each team has an opportunity to be presented to the whole Club and each player receives a player plaque commemorating their football season. These plaques provide a lasting memory of the endevaours of our players.

Additionally, each team has the opportunity to celebrate some key achievers by awarding the Players player of the year award, voted by the players themselves, Supporters Player of the year, voted by the Mum's, Dad's, Grandma's and Grandad's watching on the sidelines, and the Manager Players of the year awarded by the Team Managers to that player who has demonstrated all which we feel a Falcons player should according to our Club values and philosophy.

For younger age groups, Under 12 and below, there is a Most Improved Player award, awarded by the Team Managers to that player who has developed and improved through the season.

We also award long service for those players in the youth section who play from U8 to U16 (U10 to U16 for girls only teams) and those players who exceed 200, 400 and 500 appearances for the Club..

The Club also awards the Chairman award and the Presidents Cup to recognise individuals or teams who have achieved signifcant recognition or contribution to the Club.

The Committee consists of 16 members, which can either be named in specific roles or general committee members. The Committee meets once a month throughout the year to oversee the running of the Club.

To propose yourself for the Committee, simply e-mail the Chairman prior to the meeting with the names of your proposer and seconder. These can be ANY members of the Club e.g. Players over 18, Mum's, Dad's, or existing Committee members.

The AGM is also the opportunity to propose changes to the Club constitution which is published on our website. Changes should be submitted prior to the meeting in order for them to be added to the agenda.

Golf Day

Each year we run a Golf Day at a local golf club. This year we will be at Seckford Golf Club on Friday June 23rd 2017.

It is a great day for anyone to join, either with or without a handicap, and enjoy a day out in the fresh air and a 2 course meal.

The days play is in groups of 4, but don't panic if you don't have four, there are plenty of teams made up of individuals.

As we said, you don't need to be a existing golfer, but we would recommend that you go and hit a few golf balls at the range first. If you don't have kit we can organise this for you for a small fee.

This year the cost is £35. If you would like to enter, please email You can pay online using PayPal below:

Saturday Morning Club

Stowupland Falcons FC has run a Saturday Morning Club for more than 21 years, providing free football coaching for ages 4 upwards.

The Club is run to develop footballers in their very early stage career, teaching the basic football skills and aimed at gaining confidence "on the ball" and working as a team. We provide 2 sessions each Saturday morning. Ages 4-7 for entry into main stream youth football at Under 8 (School year 3) and ages 4-11 girls only sessions aimed at entering girls football at Under 10 (School year 5).

Both these sessions run from 10-11:15(approx) at the Village Hall playing fields, Church road, Stowupland. They are open to EVERYONE. They are FREE. No need to tell us if you are coming, just arrive and let the coach know you are there. Just TURN UP AND PLAY!

We run every Saturday except in extreme weather conditions, tune into our Facebook page for any cancellation messages.

Please note that we do expect a Parent/Guardian to stay during the Club as, we are not a child care facility. Football does have an element of danger with trips, mis-kicks and balls flying about, so having a parent/guardian on hand for youngsters is required. Football boots and shin pads are required. Trainers may be worn during summer months.
